An N95 respirator is a respiratory protective device designed to achieve a very close facial fit and very efficient filtration of airborne particles. The edges of the respirator are designed to form a seal around the nose and mouth. Surgical N95 Respirators are commonly used in healthcare settings and are a subset of N95 Filtering Facepiece Respirators (FFRs), often referred to as N95s.
A face shield is simply a curved plastic attached to a headband that can be worn over the face. Face shields have been used in healthcare settings for a while now, but they’ve become a staple for medical personnel ever since the Covid 19 pandemic.
We are manufacturing the elastic band, which is used to secure the N95 respirator around the back of the head, as a component to N95 respirator manufacturers. We also produce elastic band to supply face shield manufacturers which is used to secure the device around the crown of the head.
