Mattress edging tape is a narrow, polyester warp-knit or woven fabric that has earned a reputation as mattress “eye candy”. While most tapes continue to be used as functional seam sealers, they also embellish the bed. It does it work best by providing a “seamless” and coordinating finish to a comfortable mattress. It is also designed to be a decorative border overlay to buff-up brands and differentiate products at the point of sale. It has also become an important part of mattress design now. Once in a while, this tape even takes precedence over the fabric. Without a doubt, mattress edging tapes as a necessary component for beds, has been elevated to a much higher level.
